Ground Breaking Ceremony of G.H.S.S Akbarpura
Provincial Disaster Management Authority had undertaken activities on a large scale to reconstruct flood-damaged infrastructure in various parts of the province. In this regard, the Ground Breaking ceremony of one of the Model school in Akbarpura, District Nowshera was held on May 27, 2016. Chief Minister, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Pervez Khattak graced the Ground Breaking Ceremony of the School. Member national assembly Dr. Imran Khattak, community elders, concerned PDMA& PaRRSA officers and a large number of the local residents were also present on this occasion.
The Chief Minister, while addressing the foundation stone laying ceremony of Govt. Higher Secondary School, Akbarpura said “Government has taking all steps to reconstruct the flood damaged schools and other infrastructure. He adds “this school would be a milestone for the development of residents of Akbarpura and bright future of the new generations of the area” he said “that without education neither a civilised and peaceful society can be ensured nor the dream of progress and prosperity in the society can be translated into reality”.
PDMA-PaRRSA official gave a briefing about the building under construction. He said, Rs. 162.2 million would be spent on this building. This school will have 25 room furnished classrooms along with the state-of-the-art libraries. The Chief Minister was told that the school would be established through technical and financial support from the USAID. “Chief Minister also ordered to complete construction of the building within the stipulated period”.
