INAUGURATION CEREMONY (PRESS RELEASE)
The newly established Humanitarian Facilitation Facility (HRF) will cater the needs of the affected population during and after disaster, said Parvaiz Khattak, Chief Minister Khyber Pakhtunkhwa talking to the audience at inaugural ceremony of Provincial Warehouse/Humanitarian Response Facility at Jalozai, On this auspicious occasion, Chief Minister said that Khyber Pakhtunkhwa is continuously facing natural and human induced disasters after 2005 earthquake. It is a moment of immense pleasure for the people of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa that International Humanitarian Partners have established state of the art warehouse according to international standards, which will covered needs of relief activities during and after disaster.
In the inaugural ceremony Sectary RR&S Department, Director General PDMA, Director General Rescue 1122, Ambassadors, representatives from World Food Program and Local Representatives attended the ceremony program arranged jointly by PDMA and WFP.
While, Talking to the forum, Director General PDMA said, "Government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa always acknowledge the role of WFP and other humanitarian partners in providing support to the people of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa in most difficult times during the last several years in different emergencies. I look forward that our relation with WFP and all other donors will further foster in the times to come."
